My research interests are mainly related to pain in farm animals. Particularly, mechanisms of (visceral) pain, conditions, management practices and procedures that cause pain in animals but are not thoroughly investigated. For example, visceral pain caused by health conditions such as metritis, or pain during parturition. Also, I am interested in pain detecting tools and pain mitigation.
