My current research extends in two directions.
First, I am concerned about ethical duties of businesses with respect to current events. A recent series of papers concerned the political interests and rights of corporations. I am now working on a paper concerning the religious interests and rights of corporations as discussed in the Hobby Lobby decision.
I also have a forthcoming piece on the responsibility of the financial industry for the Global Financial Crisis. This looks both at the possibility that an industry can be morally responsible for anything at all, and assuming that it can be, what ethical responsibilities does the financial industry have.
