Alessio is a PhD Candidate at UBC Physical Therapy with an interest in pain and experimental musculoskeletal pain models. He is currently studying how pain influences neuromuscular activation and joint mechanics. Future studies will include the investigation of vertebral kinematics and neck muscle activation in whiplash injuries.
