Bernard MacLeod is a Professor Emeritus in the UBC Department of Anesthesiology, Pharmacology and Therapeutics. He previously held the Jean Templeton Hugill Chair in Anesthesia, and served as former head of Anesthesiology at the University Hospital. He combines roles as anesthesiologist and medical scientist with directing a laboratory that specializes in the pharmacology of anesthetic and analgesic drugs.
