Alexander Scott and Team Secure Funding for Telerehabilitation Education and Research

Congratulations to Dr. Alexander Scott, Director, Tendon Injury Prevention and Rehabilitation Laboratoy, and his team for being awarded a UBC Faculty of Medicine Strategic Investment Fund grant for their project titled "Program for Excellence in Telerehabilitation Education and Research". In addition to creating a telerehabilitation education and research initiative, this project will enhance clinical education through increasing competence in delivering telehealth services among rehabilitation professionals, and likely lead to improved access to these services in rural and remote communities. Over the next year the team plans to engage additional Health Authorities and government to grow and build capacity for telerehab in BC.
