BC PRN Meet and Greet Seminar with Opioid Crisis Theme May 31

The seminar will focus on different aspects of the opioid crisis. All are welcome and encouraged to attend. Our three speakers will be:

  • Christian Schütz: The link between Pain and Addiction within the context of the current opioid overdose crisis
  • Tessa Cheng: Initiation trajectories of nonmedical prescription opioid use and related risks among people who use illegal drugs in Vancouver, Canada
  • Itai Bavli: OxyContin abuse: Ethical issues regarding post-market regulation by Health Canada

If you are willing to be a speaker at our next meeting, please let Stacey know, we are looking for 3 volunteers to give a 10 min talk followed by feedback and open discussion. We will include a brief summary of your talk in the next issue of our newsletter to be distributed to the network.
