The W. Maurice Young Centre for Applied Ethics at the University of British Columbia is happy to host Dr. Katherine Boydell from Black Dog Institute (Australia) for an interactive discussion around the ethics of using art in health research. As an international expert in arts-based methods and knowledge translation, Dr. Boydell will share illustrative examples from her own work to highlight unique strengths as well as common ethical challenges of this emerging interdisciplinary field.

This talk is recommended for undergraduate and graduate students as well as faculty conducting health research as well as those with interests in knowledge translation, arts-based methods, and/or applied ethics.
