Who should attend?
Doctors or students of chiropractic interested in developing or enhancing sound clinical skills in the assessment and treatment of people living with complex and chronic pain.
Chronic and complex pain can be difficult to assess and may not adequately respond to chiropractic treatment. Successful chronic pain treatment requires an intimate understanding of pain neurophysiology, a multidisciplinary and holistic approach to patient care, and specific knowledge of chiropractic treatment strategies. This innovative evidence-based session will explore the best practices of biopsychosocial chronic pain management in the context of real clinical case studies. You will receive hands-on experience as you learn about the latest research, and how to apply it to your clinical practice.
